Everyone knows that children are small and not very strong. Their just children after all. And while some kids are stronger or taller than their peers, there are some kids that are much stronger than even some adults
Maryana Naumova – This 19-year-old blond-haired powerlifting champion from Russia has held records for the world’s strongest girl and world’s strongest teenager. Also known as ‘The Princess of the Barbell’ she started weightlifting at the age of 10 and has been lifting ever since.
Naomi Kutin – 16-year-old Naomi Kutin is just a regular teenager from New Jersey, except that she holds the women’s world records in powerlifting. She started lifting in her father’s makeshift gym in their basement because she was too young to join a gym. She was only 8 years old when she started weightlifting, but before even that, she was already a karate champion too.
Arat Hosseini – Called a real-life ‘spider boy’ Arat can scale a 10-foot wall with his bare hands and perform backflips and somersaults with ease. He began practicing gymnastics poses when he was just nine months old.
Cosmo Taylor – This 19-year-old became known as Britain’s youngest competing bodybuilder when he was just 15-years-old. Cosmo started training informally at the age of 11 and competed in his first show, the Silver City Classic Bodybuilding in Aberdeen in 2014, and since then he has spent an hour each day lifting weights. Cosmo says that the gym is his life and that he loves lifting and enjoying the results of his growing muscles.
Guiliano Stroe – This 14-year-old Romanian teenager is a known gymnast and child bodybuilder. He started lifting weights when he was just two-years-old and has set world records for doing push-ups without letting his feet touch the ground and running on his hands with weights tied to his legs.
Andrey Moroz – The Russian native Andrey Moroz became one of the strongest children in the world at the age of 13 years old. Andrey is the younger brother of Sergey Moroz, who is also a successful teenage bodybuilder, but Andrey’s young age and small stature make his bodybuilding accomplishments much more impressive.
April Atkins – In the mid-1950s there was a place in California called Muscle Beach, which got its name from a lot of people who trained and worked out here. One person who visited the place a lot was a twelve-year-old girl named April Atkins, who at the time didn’t even look that large and weighed just 79-pounds.
Julia Vins – Julia Vins is currently 21-years-old, but it was as a teenager when she first shot to fame. This Russian powerlifter is popularly known as ‘Muscle Barbie’ because of her doll-like face and her huge impressive muscles. She has already broken records at the World Powerlifting Congress by squatting 215-kilograms, bench pressing 120-kilograms, and dead-lifting 190-kilograms and doing all this with a pink bow in her hair.
Yang Jinglong – Yang Jinlong is from China and reportedly is so strong that he can pull cars, carry 200-pound bags of cement, and give piggy-back rides to his father. At the age of seven, he already weighed over 110 pounds, when the average seven-year-old boy is said to weigh between 55-65 pounds.
Liam Hoekstra – Born in Roosevelt Park, Michigan, Liam Hoekstra is known as one of the world’s strongest kids. He has a rare condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, which causes his muscles to grow quicker. By the age of 5 months, Liam was able to support his own weight and do an iron cross move.
