President Jacob Zuma and his Zimbabwe counterpart, Robert Mugabe have called for greater trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. The two leaders are co-chairing the South Africa-Zimbabwe Bi-national Commission meeting in Pretoria.
President Zuma pointed out the need to accelerate the upgrading of the Beitbridge one-stop-border post. Inadequate infrastructure at the post hampers efforts to facilitate cross-border trade.The Beitbridge border post is one of the busiest in Africa.
